About Our Team
Our team's clinical and educational expertise allows us to design and facilitate realistic and effective workshops for practicing professionals as well as medical and nursing students. Clinical expertise ensures that the simulation experience is realistic and clinically relevant to practice. Staff are also experienced educators and utilize their knowledge and skill to maximize learning.

Grants and Awards
MJSP Grant
In 2007, Minnesota Job Skills Program awarded a grant of $327,348 to the Simulation Center to develop and deliver new simulation-based programs focused on enhancing patient safety to Regions Hospital, HealthPartners Medical and Dental Clinics, and Gillette Children's Hospital. Some of the new programs include a focus on pediatric emergencies in ambulatory care, hypoglycemia, medical emergencies in dental clinics, recognizing & responding to changes in patient condition, central lines, and obstetric emergencies.
MAPS Award
The Minnesota Alliance for Patient Safety (MAPS) presented the 2003-2004 Patient Safety Awards to HealthPartners Simulation Center for Patient Safety at Metropolitan State University for their significant contributions to improving patient safety.
